Finally, some in the senate are standing up to yet another unwarrented attack from MoveOn.org, this time on General Petraeus.

Breitbart.com reports on Senate vote condemning "General Betray Us" ad
The ad ran in the New York Times not too long ago (which, btw, was given to them at a huge discount. Try to tell me the NYT isn't liberal) and was really just sad. As usual, instead of anything constructive about the war, it was simply accusational and followed the traditional liberal way of communicating. Can't win with ideas, just start attacking the person.
Well, finally today the Senate voted to condemn this ad, 72-25. Not bad for a Democratic controlled Senate. Notice that Clinton voted against Petraeus, which should tell everyone how poorly she'll do in Iraq.
But read the whole article. It's really quite revealing that the Dems keep trying to treat this war as Vietnam and trying to cut funding, but it keeps failing because THIS WAR ISN'T VIETNAM! And even if it was, they were wrong there too. Pol Pot anyone?

You got me here. . .as good as a writer as I think I am, I would find it rather ridiculous to write an article which by what you are stating, could be titled "The Constructive War"
I really want you to come up with a "Constructive" piece on "The WAR". This should be really good. . . I am not talking about SPINNING, I am talking about WAR, and how the hell it is Constructive!
Okay . . .I'm waiting. . .
Still waiting. . .

Interesting, there are many who claim to be good orators but don't listen well. Seems like the same thing can be done in print. I never said this war was constructive, I said MoveOn.org didn't have anything constructive to say about the war. There was nothing in the about an alternative to the current strategy (which, btw, worked brilliantly), it was just school-yard name-throwing.
I can respect people with opposing points of views if they can articulate them and present good ideas. Unfortunately, most liberals are like Mr. proud socialist and just spew forth hatred. How can one do anything when there's no real listening going on?
