Oh this is rich! Some schools in the UK are showing Al Gore's propaganda piece An Inconvenient Truth but the courts have stepped in and say they must issue a warning! UK Schools must warn of Gore climate film bias "Schools will have to issue a warning before they show pupils Al Gore's controversial film about global warming, a judge indicated yesterday." U.K.s Environment-Secretary apparently sent the film to 3500 schools in Britain in an attempt to endoctorinate the children there on global warming. One parent was very displeased and took this case to court. The court at least seemed to see the dangers of this film: "the court heard that the critically acclaimed film contains a number of inaccuracies, exaggerations and statements about global warming for which there is currently insufficient scientific evidence. " Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that the UK government understood what the court's decision was about. The court was trying to say that An Inconvenient Truth is exactly not "truth" but rather one's (inaccurate and exagerated) interpretation of what's happening around us. If schools are going to present this film, they need to warn that there are other views on Global Warming and really should present these other views. But, Children's Minister Kevin Brennan (UK has a "children's minister"?) doesn't see it that way. Rather, they see it that the court will let them show their twisted view of climate change and they will warn as quietly as possible .

Funny how this statement had me recall Bush's reasons to invade Iraq, which have proven to be "inaccurate, exaggerated and with insufficient evidence." and yet, we still have people dying there. Way to go with getting on the important issues here guy. . .*sheeesh*

Unfortunately, every reason for invading Iraq has been panned out, they just get ignored by the media in general, cause of how much they like the President. But when it's the other way around, i.e. an agenda of their liking, they conveniently ignore opposing viewpoints. Why do you think they've earned the title 'Liberal Media'? -AC

RE - THAT PHOTO OF GORE-ZILLA The thing was photoshopped. Al Gore was added to make flames more frightening.
