this blog is so lame! does anyone ever comment?
are you the same loser who wrote about how "rock solid" the conomy was is this 2006 post? what a joke. don't quit your day job, if you still have one.
US Economy Sucks! At least that's what you'd think by listening to any major news outlet.
I can't tell you how mad it makes me to listen to NPR talk about the recent jobs report and listen them shower this great news about a rock-solid economy (one statistically better than anything we've had in the 90s under Clinton's lame-@ss legacy) with as much pessimism they can. Strewn all through out the report were howevers and buts and slowing downs. Just admit it! US Economy rocks!
Not only did the job report show a steady climb in jobs, but it also a sharp increase in wages. Everything is on the up and up! And yet somehow the media claims it's "weak". Look at CNN's article Job growth weak again. "Wage pressures raise concerns" is their way of downtalking the growth in wages, the best we've seen since 2001 (which if there wasn't any growth, they would be screaming bloody murder about stagnant salaries). Unemployment stood steady, at 4.6%, which is amazing! Very rarely in US history does unemployment drop below 5%, and only during raging economies. Yes somehow this is washed to the wayside.
It's almost as though the media wants the economy to be in the tanks. Check out MSNBC's Growth worries sink stocks report. Even though the article highlights that this kind of job report will keep inflation in check, it still howevered the story by saying recent stock drop of 3M was due to jobs! As if anything can be blamed for any kind of stock movement up or down...
Why is it so hard to just say the truth?!? That the US Economy is rock solid and has been so for almost 2 years now! Gives me a headache to listen to the news now-a-days. |

Yeah, and it still is pretty darn solid. EVERY financial factor in the economy is doing a lot better than it ever did under Clinton. Dave Ramsey had a great monologue on his radio show about a week ago that went into major details about the numbers. I wish I had recorded it or had the transcript, because I would have posted about it. But here's a small tapping of his mind on CBS: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/01/29/earlyshow/contributors/daveramsey/main3763727.shtml
Take a look at the real numbers and you'll see our economy is a strong as it's ever been...
